Glitterbels appoints nail industry icon, Jan Arnold, as executive advisor

Jan Arnold, co-founder of nail brand, CND™, has been appointed as executive advisor to Glitterbels.

Boasting over four decades’ experience at the helm of CND™, Jan Nordstrom Arnold has played a pivotal role in elevating nails from accessory to artistry. She has worked with some of the world’s most influential fashion designers and advocates for professional nail technicians through her work with the Beauty Changes Lives organisation.

She cemented her relationship with UK-born nail brand, Glitterbels, in summer 2025, and her appointment was announced backstage at The Blonds SS26 New York Fashion Week show, at which Glitterbels products were used to create the nail looks. Her role sees her working closely with Glitterbels founders, Annabel and Elliott Maginnis, to expand the brand’s product innovation, distribution channels and professional education programmes.

“After an extraordinary 46-year journey co-founding and building CND™ into a global powerhouse, I felt a deep calling to reignite my creative spirit and explore new ideas and partnerships,” shares Jan in a statement on Instagram. “Enter Glitterbels, a brand with a passion for nails that instantly resonated with me. From the moment I met the team, I knew I’d found kindred spirits.

Glitterbels was founded in 2017 and distributes over 1,500 nail products, tools and accessories in over 50 countries worldwide. It won a Scratch Stars Shooting Star Award in 2021 owing to its industry success, and its education team have entered the Scratch Stars Awards Hall Of Fame following three wins in the Nail Team of the Year category.
