The British Beauty Council has announced actress & model, Jerry Hall, and designer, entrepreneur & model, Georgia May Jagger, as ambassadors for British Beauty Week 2025.

Now in its sixth year, British Beauty Week celebrates the influence and innovation of the British beauty sector, and is hosting a variety of activations, with the theme: Future of Beauty, between 20-26 October 2025.

Mother-daughter duo, Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger, bring a wealth of knowledge to their ambassador roles, with Hall a globally recognised figure in the fashion and beauty spheres, and Jagger the founder of MAY Botanicals and Bleach London, as well as British Beauty Council wellbeing ambassador.

This British Beauty Week, Hall and Jagger are collaborating with the Council to spotlight individuals and brands driving the beauty industry’s future, and champion the sector’s cultural and economic impact.

Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council

“We are so pleased to appoint Jerry and Georgia May as British Beauty Week ambassadors for 2025,” comments Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council.

“Beauty has been intrinsic to both of their careers, in the same way that it is for so many of the cultural icons that shape the creative industries in the UK. Their appointment not only reiterates the power of beauty for shaping identity, but showcases both the intersection of beauty and fashion and the intergenerational power of our £30.4bn industry.”

Jerry Hall comments: “I am honoured to join the British Beauty Council as an ambassador for British Beauty Week, especially alongside my daughter. Beauty has been intrinsic to my career – in fact, it’s provided the very essence of my work. From signature looks to countless magazine covers, beauty has acted as the foundation of my professional identity and enabled me to tell a story through photographs.

“I am continuously inspired by the intergenerational nature of this sector. I was learning beauty tips from my own mother, and now I’ve had the joy of watching my daughters forge their own incredible paths. It’s this creativity that I want to champion this British Beauty Week”.

Georgia May Jagger adds: “For me, beauty has always been more than just make-up or hair; it’s been a powerful source of self-expression and confidence. From being on set to founding my own brand, beauty and the people that work in it have been incredibly influential in my life.

“The British beauty sector is a powerhouse and British Beauty Week is all about celebrating them and their futures. I am delighted to be working with the Council to ensure our industry is a vital part of our culture, confidence and economy.”
