OPI is to update its GelColor soak-off nail system with new base and top coats featuring ProHealth technology, new colourful bottles, an additional 7.5ml product size and an LED dual-cure light made with LG.

The ProHealth Technology base coat and top coat help protect nails and shield manicures and pedicures from damage while locking in chip-free colour and shine. When combined with GelColor shades, the two  formulas can be removed, scrape-free, in as little as seven minutes. With ProHealth technology, removal time is up to 53% faster, allowing salons to expedite the appointment process and take more clients, while improving the client experience.

The updated GelColor shade range includes a new 7.5ml colour size, available in 60 shades, in addition to the classic 15ml bottles. Salons can now customise colour collections with favourites in standard sizes and try more of the 140 available colours with the smaller midi size.

Featuring TruCure technology, the OPI light has been designed in collaboration with LG, and uses two light wavelengths that provide optimal wear and shine retention. One light wave targets the manicure surface for optimal shine while the other helps cure down to the base. The TruCure light can be used with any OPI service that requires light curing for a flawless finish.

“GelColor brings women to the salon for premium service time and time again,” comments OPI co-founder and brand ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. “This new system is a must-have, not only for discerning clients who want the best OPI has to offer, but also for salon staff to more easily and quickly give clients what they want.”
