Leighton Denny celebrates 17th brand anniversary

Back in the driving seat of his brand after living in Los Angeles since 2005, Leighton returned to the UK just before the pandemic hit and has been working on the relaunch of his namesake brand and his industry comeback.
Now, back at the helm of his brand, Leighton enthuses, “I’ve created a ‘skincare for nails’ philosophy, whereby i’m using the highest grade ingredients such as essential oils. I’ve panel-tested the products and can present a results-driven range. My new products such as the Rebirth capsules and Renovate nail oil are what i’m coining ‘the big drip energy’, which represents essential oils and natural ingredients.”

Working closely with his R&D team in the laboratory, Leighton, now funding the brand, is keen to bring the latest and most exciting product ingredients to market and is trialing each product thoroughly through focus groups before launching.

Moving into June, Leighton is ready to celebrate the brand’s 17th anniversary and has not only introduced a series of new products and a nail lacquer capsule collection, Affection (vibrant orange, sherbet lemon and pastel blush shades), but he’s promoting that 75% of his lacquer ingredients are sourced from plants such as maize, wheat and potato.

On the natural nail treatment aspect, the Nail Rebirth is a targeted treatment capsule for conditioning, strengthening and hydrating nails. Formulated with Neonyca™ from celery seed extract, jojoba and sweet almond oil, this product has impressive results when used in a nailcare regimen as it encourages thicker, longer, stronger, healthier, more resilient and shinier nails. It’s a win-win retail product for salons to sell onto clients.

A new avenue for the brand, Leighton Denny now offers three fragrances in the Confidence Collection; Embrace, Encourage and Inspire. Winning Cosmo’s Best Woody Fragrance 2022, Encourage is an elegant, sensual fragrance with a gentle top note of delicate lemon balm, creamy vanilla with calming, sandalwood and floral heart notes of velvety rose and dewy violet combined with spicy black pepper, cardamom and amyris. Base notes of warm amber, patchouli, tonka bean and sandalwood add the finishing touches to this scent.
