ITV2’s Love Island is back for 2023 for a winter season and this time, singles are seeking love in a villa in South Africa.

Ahead of the launch, Bristol-based tech, Ella Jarvis, who is part of The Gossip Nail Bar team, was flown to Cape Town in South Africa to create nail looks for the first set of islanders entering the villa.

“I was so happy to be invited back with the whole team to South Africa, they’re such a great glam team and we have such a good time together,” reveals Ella.

“Cape Town is beautiful and completely different to Spain but the show is much the same!”

When asked about the nail looks, Ella explained how the islanders have free rein on their designs but most choose fairly plain designs because they have to wear them for a while. She also said that she had approximately an hour to an hour and a half on each islander so it was a busy, but not too rushed day.
