NAILS MAG names its Next Top Nail Artist 2017

Following a lengthy, exciting and challenging process, Nails magazine has announced the winner of its Next Top Nail Artist competition for 2017.

Netherlands nail artist, Tracey Lee, scooped the title in the online nail art competition, which is open to professionals worldwide. Jonny Diep Pham and Liina Leino took the runners up prizes as the results were revealed during a gala celebration at Chicago’s Roof on theWit.

Tracey, Jonny and Liina completed a series of challenges at America’s Beauty Show in March, along with a public interview on the show floor by CND co-founder, Jan Arnold. These two components determined final scores for the Top 3.

Tracey’s win came after 12 elimination rounds with 23 other finalists and she accepted her award graciously, thanking her fellow competitors for keeping the bar so high. She will be recognised by Nails as a top talent for the next 12 months and attend NYFW and work with a top designer, creating nails that complement the runway looks.

Other prizes include doing a cover for Nails, a feature in Modern Salon, cash, professional products, and numerous opportunities for editorial work.

Nails Next Top Nail Artist, which launched in 2014, promotes artistry and professionalism within the nail industry.
