Pret A Manger partners with Shoreditch Nails to offer iced drink-inspired nail art

Pret A Manger has teamed up with Shoreditch Nails to offer manicures that match customers’ summer iced drinks of choice.

Founder of Shoreditch Nails, Tina Michael, reveals: “We hosted a pop-up event at Pret A Manger in Shoreditch (22 May) and will be running another in Hackney Central (12 June). When you pre-purchase one of the brand’s new summer iced drinks, you will receive a complimentary Pret A Manger x Shoreditch Nails manicure that matches, redeemable in shop. You can sign up via the link on @pret’s Instagram.”

She continues: “We will also be running the menu at our Shoreditch and Dalston salons until 22 June. With every mani, you will receive a voucher for a complimentary colourful latte at Pret A Manger (participating shops).”

Tina shares how the collaboration came about: “We were really excited when Pret A Manger reached out to us with the idea to create nail designs that match their new iced lattes. The team at Pret A Manger wanted to re-create the colours and flavours of the drinks, but in manicures! The flavours, Ube Brûlée, Spirulina Macaron and Matcha, were the perfect shades of purple, blue and green, so our nail artist, Carmen Tran, matched them with The GelBottle Inc shades.”

For the Ube Brûlée Iced Latte, Carmen used The GelBottle Inc Gel Polish in Pastel V005 with Dark Dimension and Madam, while Cinderella was used with Signature and Blue Steel to recreate the Spirulina Macaron Iced Latte. For the Iced Matcha Latte, the tech used the brand’s Gel Polishes in Knightsbridge and Tortie.

“It was really fun creating the designs and figuring out which techniques we would use to bring the swirls of colour in the lattes to life,” says Tina.
