Salon System announces Lash Squad for 2019

Salon System has announced it’s Lash Squad for 2019, seeing a team of industry experts and lash gurus that have formed a squad to share knowledge, inspiration and techniques.
Keen on imparting wisdom on new products, trends, training courses and techniques, Salon System’s Lash Squad includes Ruth Atkins, Lisa Stone, Sammm Agnew and Lauren Alice.
Ruth Atkins
Salon System educator and lash and brow specialist, Ruth Atkins has been working for the brand for over 20 years. With professional qualifications in beauty and teaching with 30 years as a make-up artist, Ruth has travelled the world to train export accounts and lecture at trade shows and events.
“My personal lash style of choice has three phases – a lash lift and tint followed by the Salon System Texture Individual Mink Style lash in short,” says Ruth Atkins. “The lash lift and tint accentuates my natural lash and the individual lashes add a little depth and further definition. For special occasions and holidays, I opt for Marvelash and my go-to style is Russian Volume using a mixture of curls to add texture – I love how soft and natural they feel.”
Lisa Stone
Lisa Stone, a qualified beauty therapist and teacher, is a Salon System expert and has been a freelance beauty educator for the past 14 years. With Salon System’s exclusive training provider, Training Solutions, Lisa delivers courses across the UK, lecturing, speaking at beauty events and launches, and working on NPD.
“I really enjoy the time it takes to create a Marvelash look,” says Lisa Stone. “I love watching how lashes transform from natural to then giving clients the ‘wow’ factor reaction – I never get tired of that! I also love to work on beauty and brand photoshoots, behind the scenes prepping and preparing models. I love what I do and simply can’t imagine doing anything else!”
Sammm Agnew
Naming her style ‘hyper-beauty’, Sammm Agnew is a specialist in creating extravagantly bold and unique make-up, hairstyling, body paint and prosthetic designs. Sammm has 15 years of industry experience under her belt across film, TV, fashion, music and advertising. Credits span across the UK, Europe, USA, Asia and Africa, including Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Zayn Malik, BBC, ITV1, ITV2, Channel 4, Discovery and Sky.

Lauren Alice
Lauren Alice is a freelance make-up artist working in fashion, editorial and commercial beauty. Over the years her work has featured in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar. Lauren has worked with celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Taylor Hill and Leomie Anderson.
“I would describe my lash style as fluffy yet defined,” says Lauren Alice. “I like to see the texture of the lash hairs but use them in a way to define and sculpt the eye depending on my choice of lash and placement.”
