Salon System launches certified online beauty courses

Salon System has launched a series of certified online beauty courses, delivered by its appointed training agency, Training Solutions.

“It was a natural progression for Salon System to launch online learning with Training Solutions,” Kathy Holroyd, marketing director at Salon System comments.

“This sees us as a brand, securing a larger base of technicians trained in Salon System and our brands and a platform to share our wealth of training and product knowledge with them.

“Considering the current pandemic, online learning has never been more important and pivotal in the learning and growth of technicians. We want to be able to support our industry and customers.”

The following online courses will include:

• Gellux Gel Polish – Covering: correct preparation and application, Gellux gel polish for manicures, French manicures and pedicures, custom colour blending and seasonal trend techniques, simple nail art, aftercare, maintenance and removal, troubleshooting, promotion and marketing, understanding the Gellux brand and it’s products for a gel polish treatment.
• Lashlift & Tint –  Covering: eye area preparation, lash curl to enhance the eye, lash lift to create the illusion of length and volume, lash/brow tinting to further enhance & define using colour guides, aftercare advice and troubleshooting, understanding of the procedure and products for lash curl, lash lift and lash/brow tinting treatments.

• Marvelash Lash Extensions – Covering: eye area preparation, how to thicken and lengthen the lashes using Marvelash, express treatments, maintenance, rebalance & safe removal, aftercare advice and troubleshooting and understanding of the Marvelash brand and its products.
• Just Wax Essential Waxing – Covering: guided learning using strip and spatula waxing techniques of full leg, bikini, underarm and upper lip wax, unique speed waxing techniques, full understanding of the Just Wax brand and it’s products for warm waxing, aftercare advice for the client and troubleshooting.
• Just Wax Intimate Waxing – Covering: skin preparation & correct client positioning, intimate hot waxing techniques for underarm and bikini, unique Just Wax Multiflex waxing techniques for Hollywood and Brazilian waxing and full understanding of the Just Wax brand and it’s products for intimate waxing.

Prior to the live webinar, the attendee will receive access to an online learning portal to complete the following: Health & Safety specific to your course, salon hygiene & sanitation, salon health & safety and client consultation, contra-indications and client care specific to the course. It be completed before the live session and will take up to three hours dependant on pace.

Students also will have continued access to the online learning portal for 1 year.

Upon completion of the course, they will receive an accredited e-certificate, 4 CPD hours and CPD points.

All courses are approved by Towergate Health and Beauty and ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) and pre-requisites are required for some on-line courses.
