Introducing Saviour™: an expert-built brand to support nail & skin health & repair

Nail expert, educator & Scratch Stars Shooting Star Award finalist 2025, Theresa Foddering, offers Scratch an exclusive insight into the launch of her brand: Saviour™.
Where did the idea for Saviour™ come from?
“Saviour™ was born from years of fixing, supporting and advising on the issues we see so often in our industry – dry, damaged and compromised nails and skin. Throughout my 23 years as a pro, I have found myself constantly recommending various products to help, but nothing has ever quite ticked every box. So, I decided it was time I created my own!
“I already knew exactly what I wanted the formula to be; I just needed to be in the right mindset and find the right people who could help me bring it to life.”
What were your goals when creating Saviour™?
“My goals are threefold:
- To create high-performing, luxurious products that support nail and skin repair and health.
- To empower nail professionals with tools they can trust and proudly recommend or resell. No longer should a professional fear a condition or disorder presented by a client.
- To keep the spirit of small business collaboration alive by working with independent UK businesses wherever possible in the production and business process.”
What products are launching?
“At launch, Saviour™ is introducing two core products:
- The Nail & Skin Restoring Oil – a deeply nourishing oil designed to penetrate the nails and skin, improving flexibility, condition and appearance.
- The Nail & Skin Restoring Balm – a protective, intensive balm that locks in moisture and creates a barrier against environmental stressors.

Saviour™ Nail & Skin Restoring Oil
“Both products can be used individually, but when layered together, they deliver a powerhouse treatment. They are perfect for everyday maintenance, post-service care, or for those needing extra support after damage or dysfunctions like nail separation, allergies, psoriasis, cracked heels, habit-tic and more.

Saviour™ Nail & Skin Restoring Balm
“The Saviour™ formula harnesses the power of carefully selected aromatherapeutic botanicals to restore and protect both nails and skin. Anti-inflammatory lavender soothes and calms, while tea tree and eucalyptus provide natural antibacterial and anti-fungal support. Camphor reduces redness and irritation, avocado oil strengthens and nourishes, and mango butter locks in moisture and boosts skin regeneration.”
How did you come up with the brand name?
“The name Saviour™ came quite naturally. I kept finding myself describing the products during development as a ‘saviour’ for nails and skin: something that saved the day when nothing else seemed to work. And it stuck! I wanted a name that felt powerful and captured both the emotional relief and physical restoration of the products.”
Are the products retail-friendly?
“Absolutely! Nail techs are able to purchase the products at a discounted trade rate (on a pro-only login area) and have the opportunity to resell them to their clients at retail value. Additionally, the Saviour™ website features a dedicated stockist map, making it easy for consumers to find trusted salons and helping to increase visibility and footfall for professionals.”
How have you found the process of launching a brand?
“It’s been a whirlwind: rewarding, challenging and emotional. Every decision, from the formulations to the branding and packaging, has been made with incredible care and thought. One of the biggest challenges was a trademark battle that delayed my original launch plans by almost a full year. At the time, it felt frustrating, but in hindsight, it was a blessing. It gave me extra time to test, refine and tweak every part of the brand.

Before using Saviour™

After two days of using Saviour™
“One of the things I’m most proud of is that every element of Saviour™ has been contributed to by small, often female-owned, independent businesses across the UK, from formulation, packaging and content creation to branding and website design.
“Ultimately, I want Saviour™ to be more than just another brand. I want it to be a movement towards education, quality and genuine care within our industry.”
