KAM Hair and Body Spa has been announced as one of the winners of the Best of Britain awards 2017.
Aiming to showcase businesses from across the country who stand out from the crowd, the annual awards was launched by business energy price comparison specialists Love Energy Savings, in partnership with EDF Energy, Opus Energy, British Gas, Scottish Power and npower.
The Elgin-based spa has been rewarded for going above and beyond for their customers, their outstanding services and overall business ethos. The spa will receive £300 cash prize and will be invited to a special prize-giving and round table discussion at Bolton-based Love Energy Savings’ headquarters.
KAM Hair and Body Spa was recognised for its community efforts. The salon compiled a Christmas Pamper Hamper and raised funds through raffle tickets, which they donated to local charity, The Ladybird Group, who provide pre-school children with additional support in their development. The salon partnered with other local businesses and organised an Easter Egg Hunt in the town, donating proceeds to the RAF Benevolent Fund. One employees also ran in a 10K race at Loch Ness to raise £250 for local midwives to go to Nepal.
“Showing that we are a serious business contender is important to us,” comments the team at KAM Hair and Body Spa. “We are absolutely delighted to have stood out among the hundreds of applications in our region and be chosen as the Best of Britain Awards winner in Scotland and be able to fly the flag of excellence for Scotland.”
“At KAM, we always go the extra mile for our clients to ensure the service they are being provided with exceeds their expectations. We love to team up with local independent businesses and local charity events wherever possible to show our community support.”
“Businesses no matter how big or small should be recognised for their hard work, dedication and professionalism,” Phil Foster, managing director of Love Energy Savings states. “I’m pleased we could acknowledge such fantastic businesses throughout the UK with our Best of Britain Awards. I’m already looking forward to next year!”
