Scratch Stars Awards 2018 closes with record number of entries

Entry to the Scratch Stars Awards closed at midnight, with over 500 entries received across 16 categories; the highest number of entries to date.
Techs, salon owners and nail aficionados were invited to put themselves forward for an award from 1-28 February, in a bid to be crowned a Scratch Star for 2018.
The Scratch Stars Awards, now in its seventh year, recognises the amazing nail talent in the UK – looking not just at nail skill, but passion, customer service and business acumen.
The category with the highest number of entries for 2018 is Gel Polish Stylist of the Year, and now the first panel of judges will whittle down all entries across all categories to a final five in each, to be announced on 9 April across Scratch‘s website and social media platforms.
Following that, a next round of judging will take place 14-15 May, with requirements different for each category, and then the winners will be revealed at the Scratch Summer Party on Sunday 15 July 2018 at Tropicana Beach Club, London.
