The second Nail Safari event has been scheduled for Monday 15 – Friday 19 November 2021 and is open for bookings.

With such positive feedback from delegates who attended the original event hosted back in November 2019, it was decided a second event should take place, however the pandemic put the brakes on this year. So, with a positive outlook for 2021, the organisers are forming, sculpting and shaping a schedule that is both creative and educationally nourishing for end of next year.

The 2021 line up presents nine educators, Marian Newman, Jennie Nippard, Hazel Dixon, Tracey Lee, Mino Vo, Catriona Leith, Nataliya Al-Ta’ai, Charli Jepson and Pavan Dhanjal. Each will bring their own flavour, style and expertise to the classroom with subjects such as one stroke, fashion, sculpting, nail art ideas, henna art and some science all on the menu. Homework will be set, challenges put forward and lots of fun and frolics will be enjoyed.

Catriona Leith

Gel design incorporating ombré, fine lines & swirls with sugaring techniques for a wide berth of design ideas.

Hazel Dixon

“I’m excited to teach character art. I’ll show how to map a character out, the best gel art products to use, as well as brush & product control to get the best results and finishing! All with a safari twist to it!”

Jennie Nippard

Ever wondered where the inspiration for nails on the catwalk comes from? Jennie will take you on a wild walk down the runway to find out…

The event will be hosted once more at Shepreth Wildlife Park, between Cambridge and Royston, just off the A10 on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border.

Alex Fox and Kay Dodd will join the educators to welcome you each morning and to guide you through the nail labyrinth.

Marian Newman

Marian will track down & delivering the facts & cull the nail myths. Science fact – not fiction with a daily Q&A refresher.

Mino Vo

“I’m looking forward to meeting the Safari Nail Rangers to showcase my stiletto style, which is very extreme and edgy. I like it to be really sharp, like the original meaning of a stiletto – ‘a dagger’.”

Nataliya Al-ta’ai

“I’m excited to join the Safari educator team. I will share ideas & techniques on hot-to-create fashionable, yet easy & fast to achieve nail styles for everyday salon clients. Ideas for both seasoned and newbie techs.”
