The Beauty Accountant scoops national award for supporting UK businesses

Ria-Jaine Lincoln, an accountant who specialises in advisory services for beauty businesses, has been awarded Sole Practitioner of the Year at the Accounting Excellence Awards 2021.

A columnist for Scratch magazine, Ria-Jaine was previously recognised with the Covid Hero Award 2020 for her continued support and guidance throughout the pandemic and is twice listed as one of the top 50 women in accounting across the globe.

She has been supporting beauty businesses since 2018 with her accountancy advice and services, as well as with free webinars and information. Now working under The Beauty Accountant name, Ria-Jaine started her career in accountancy while living in a refuge, before starting employment at Deloitte and then training with Bio Sculpture Gel in the art of nail enhancements.

Ria-Jaine was presented with a stunning trophy at the awards event at The Brewery, London, which recognised the best of the accountancy profession.

Ria-Jaine merged her passions for accountancy nails to offer accountancy services to the beauty industry and workshops to beauty training providers, ensuring that newly trained beauty business owners do not miss out on vital business start-up guidance.

A champion for domestic abuse and voluntary family support worker with charity, Home Start using her experiences to help other women. Ria-Jaine is on a mission to empower and support women in beauty business.
