THE WINNERS: Scratch Stars Awards 20/21

Following a pandemic postponement & a shift in the judging process – the Scratch Stars Awards winners 20/21 have been announced!

The reveals were made live at the Scratch Stars Party on Sunday 25 July, held at London cabaret club, Proud Embankment.

The evening, hosted by Scratch’s Alex Fox and Helena Biggs, featured entertainment from Duncan James and fire performers, with a live DJ, pick ‘n’ mix and popcorn caddies and plenty of cocktails.

Shining Star Award

LISA WELLS (posthumously)

The Scratch Stars Awards recognised Lisa, who sadly passed away from cancer at the age of 31. An esteemed educator and nail professional, Lisa had dedicated time to judging the awards on behalf of INK London in previous years and ignited the industry with her Lisa’s Army movement to support Dorothy House hospice.

 

Hall Of Fame

In 2018, three techs entered the Hall Of Fame owing to three wins each in the same category. When the 2019 winners were announced, there were two further additions to the Hall Of Fame who were recognised at the Scratch Stars Party on 25 July. Once Hall Of Fame status has been awarded, the pro or business cannot enter that category again, but can choose to either enter different categories or become a Scratch Stars judge.
