Want to test the latest salon workwear looks for yourself? Simon Jersey is working with beauty teams customers to test its latest designs, including Blackburn nail salon owner, Charli Jepson.

The first of its beauty testers is Charli Jepson, owner of Charli and the Beauty Factory in Blackburn. She and her team of technicians tested Simon Jersey’s new ruffle tunic in plum, along with co-ordinating slim-fitting trousers. The tunic features this season’s key ruffle trend on a chic and slim-fitting tunic design which includes a double action back for comfort when giving treatments.

A master educator for Nail Harmony and technician to stars, Charli says, “It’s great to work with Simon Jersey and give our feedback on the type of uniforms we need when we’re working with clients.

“We’ve all found that the big benefit of the tunics is there’s lots of room thanks to the double action back which gives you a bit of extra space to stretch. There’s plenty of arm space too which is important for when you have to change position. All of the girls have commented on the hidden pockets which are amazingly useful in the salon!

“Our clients have commented on how fashionable they are too, and they co-ordinate really well with the trousers for a smart and professional look.”

Helen Harker, designer at Simon Jersey, said: “Reviews like this are invaluable to us when we’re designing new beauty styles. We now want to make sure we continue to support them in the salon or spa and their feedback will be really useful in refining our designs and creating new styles for next year.”

Simon Jersey is now seeking even more beauty testers to trial its latest styles. It would like to hear from beauty salons, mobile beauticians and spas who would like to get involved.
