Boost nail & beauty skills at the Susan Gerrard Beauty Academy

Structured to help forge bright, beautiful careers and grow skillsets, the Susan Gerrard Beauty Academy has launched, founded by industry icon, Susan Gerrard, who brought the Jessica nail brand to the UK.
Held at Gerrard International’s purpose-build training facility in Borehamwood, Susan Gerrard Beauty Academy courses are taught with brands including Jessica Natural Nail Care, Mii Cosmetics and BeautyLab Skincare.
Kirsten Desai is a senior trainer at the Susan Gerrard Beauty Academy and teaches the VTCT Level 2 diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies.
VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies
Goal: To gain an in-demand skill set and lay the foundations for a beauty career.
Course units include:
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Nail art
- Facials
- Waxing
- Lash & brow treatments
- Make-up
- Health & safety
- Client care
Students also receive:
- Jessica manicure & pedicure industry training
- Jessica GELeration training
- Brow by Mii industry training
- BeautyLab Skincare product & treatment training
- Business & marketing workshop
- Student discount to help build a professional kit
Duration: 30 weeks, beginning Friday 6 April 2018.
Courses run two days a week; on Friday 9.30am-5.30pm and Monday 5-9pm.
Cost: £1950 inc. VAT
Charlotte Lowe is a senior trainer at the Susan Gerrard Beauty Academy and teaches the VTCT Level 2 certificate in Nail Treatments.

Goal: To become a fully qualified natural nail therapist that can offer professional mani and pedi services and build a client base/
Course units include:

- Health & safety

Duration: 26 weeks, beginning Monday 9 April 2018.
The course runs every Monday, 9.30am-4.30pm.

Short courses – coming soon
Courses in manicure, pedicure, nail art and make-up will be available to offer an insight into the industry and develop personal skills. These courses are designed for self progression and do not offer a professional qualification.
