Scratch chats to Jasmin Sutor of Nails by Jasmin about her favourite nail products and the importance of keeping up with the latest industry trends…
I trained as an apprentice in the salon I still work in, and have also completed separate training courses over the years.
Since I started focusing on nail art a couple of years ago, I was completely obsessed with snake print nail art – and still am! It’s definitely my go to. I achieve this using The GelBottle‘s Blooming Gel, which is definitely a favourite product of mine.
I already can’t wait to see the new nail trends to come in 2022 and see what this year has to offer for the nail industry.
I love the social media side of the nail industry as everyone is so supportive of one another.

My tip for an aspiring nail artist is to just practice, practice, practice! I remember sitting for hours in my room just focusing on one design until I smashed it. I still do this now in the salon if there’s a certain trend or technique I struggle with. Practice makes perfect!
I think the industry is forever growing and evolving and it’s so important to keep up to date with nail art trends and always better your skills where you can, even down to the nail prep.
