Scratch chats to Stacey Nicholls about her Online Nail School launch, being the founder of SLN Nail Training Academy and her journey in the nail industry…
With nearly 100 training courses under her belt, Stacey started her self-employed career 8 years ago. She quickly completed her teacher training, mentored students, and began competing – this whirlwind journey naturally grew her social media platforms. After 2 years of promoting her training course to her followers, she was able set up her Training Academy in Cardiff.
Also a mum to two boys, Stacey gushes saying, “they are so strong and resilient, and this has made me who I am today, and I know I wouldn’t have the businesses I have now without the strength they have taught me.”
Focusing on the mantra of, “Welcoming you into the space that allows us to bring out the diamond in you!”, Stacey’s Nail Training Academy, SLN, has gathered a community of over 15,000 people.
The academy focuses on, “supporting women pursue their passion and love their work by bringing out their creativity, as well as supporting them create the same success we have had”.
Previously relying on classroom-based training, SLN has just launched a brand new accredited online nail school and membership to increase their accessibility and flexibility while not hindering the quality of study.
Stacey comments how, “through their own personalised student portal, they can track their progress through our extensive curriculum with over 75 in-depth video tutorials, 7 E-Books & 3 workbooks, along with printable guides and templates for students to use available to them through our Online Nail School.”
“We are fully committed to ensuring our students have all the support they need, that’s why we created our SLN community so myself and our educators and student mentors can support our students virtually through a 24/7 support group as well as live online Q&A sessions,” Stacey says.
