We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!

Kayley Cairns, multi award winning tech and Hazel Dixon Nail Artist & Academy educator, wears an embellished design inspired by Pantone’s colour of the year.

“The nails are created using coloured L&P from HD Professional. They were infills so I filled my existing product down to a thin clear base layer then created the design on top. I used marbling techniques and colour blending on four of the nails before capping in clear to seal the design. I used Swarovski Crystals from Bluestreak Crystals in a selection of colours and sizes to add an eye catching element to the nails.

“I needed some pretty nails for New Year’s Eve and was inspired by the pretty blue on the nails I did for my final client of the year and also by the announcement of Pantone’s colour of the year being ‘classic blue’. As it was New Year’s Eve I wanted to go all out on the bling, because if there is any time of the year I can get away with OTT bling, this is it!

“I love the contrast and mix of the soft girly pink with the bold blues – I love things that contrast on nails.”
