WHAT I’M WEARING: Kelly Wells, Beauticle Nails

Kelly Wells, of Beauticle Nails, incorporates the bubble trend in her latest set!

“To create my latest set of nails I decided I wanted to use some of the new products I had recently purchased from Magpie Beauty. I decided on the Magpie Beauty gel polish colours Nina Cherry and Little Bo Peep, both of which are such lovely colours and the coverage is so amazing! I did two coats of each colour and dabbed Magpie Beauty Glitter in Kim into the tacky layer of one nail. On the thumb I decided to add some Emma Zo Foil, as I love the effect the foils give.

“After seeing the latest craze of bubble nails I decided I would give it a try on my own nails. To create the bubble effect I mixed hand soap with some water and, on the nail I wanted the bubbles, I used a thin layer of Magpie Beauty Don’t Be Tacky. Before curing I scooped the bubble gently onto the wet gel and cured them in the lamp, then wiping away any excess bubbles. For the stamp nail I used an Uberchic Stamping Plate and decided to place the floral stamp to one side of the nail and added some bubbles to the plain part of the nail.

“I absolutely love my latest set of nails and can’t wait to create some more bubble nails. This set was made up as I went along – I knew I wanted to incorporate the bubble effect somewhere but I am so happy with the end result.”
