Embrace the ‘Colour of the Year’ with 65 trending teal nail designs

According to trend forecaster, WGSN, and colour system company, Coloro, ‘Transformative Teal’ is set to be one of the defining shades of autumn/winter 2026.

Teal is a colour that can be difficult to define, as its tones range from light to dark. What remains consistent, however, is that it sits between green and blue, blending the two hues into a versatile and sophisticated shade.

Check out entries to the 5 August 2026 nail art challenge from Scratch, in which techs were tasked with creating a design to fit the theme: Teal Talons.

Each nail style was submitted via Instagram or Facebook using #ShowScratch #CreativeChallenge.
