Insurance provider, ABT, has appointed beauty editor, Melissa Dennis, and Creative Apostrophe, to help strengthen its communications strategy to benefit members.
ABT has over 12,000 members across the UK. Alongside insurance, ABT membership includes support to assist career and business progress. Melissa’s 15 years’ experience of communication and marketing within the beauty sector will help develop this further.
Melissa will be working alongside ABT‘s marketing assistant, Amelia Black. “We appreciate how important it is for therapists, nail technicians and make-up artists to feel supported in their careers,” comments Dave Horton, ABT director. “By appointing Melissa Dennis, we are now able to do just that, communicating industry news and product announcements as they happen, as well as business and insurance updates that may affect our members.
“ABT members will have privileged access to this information in one place, meaning they will be the most up-to-date professionals in the industry.”
Melissa comments: “After working for 15 years in the beauty industry, I am passionate about driving standards forward and ensuring that every individual has access to the news and information that helps them to be the best therapist, nail tech or make-up artist they can be.
“I am delighted to be working with a forward-thinking and innovative company such as ABT, developing plans in partnership with other key players in the sector, to provide comprehensive communication platforms which will ultimately lead to a better informed and educated industry.”
