Google searches for D.I.Y beauty treatments spike

The number of Google searches for D.I.Y beauty treatments has quadrupled since March and April 2019, with over one million related queries.
The team at Cult Beauty has compared the number of UK Google searches in March and April 2019 to March and April 2020 to reveal the most popular D.I.Y beauty searches during social distancing regulations.
The treatments with the biggest spikes in searches are:
- Haircut (+1379%)
- Home hair dye (+438%)
- Eyebrow waxing and threading (+429%)
- Hair mask (+333%)
- Lash lift (+300%)
- Face mask (+233%)
- Gel & acrylic nail care (+129%)
- Bath bomb (+128%)
- Home facial (+115%)
- Eyelash extensions (+76%)
