The All Party Parliamentary Group on Beauty, Aesthetics and Wellbeing (BAW APPG) has shared two letter templates for contacting the Prime Minister and your local MP regarding last week’s announcement that nail & beauty businesses are to remain closed.

The two letter templates urge for reconsideration on ‘the re-opening of beauty, spa and wellness industry alongside hairdressers’, and urges for clarity on a reopening date for businesses.

The templates can be found here:

The BAW APPG is politically neutral cross-party group of Parliamentarians for the beauty and aesthetics industry. Further tips:

  • MPs should be addressed as Mr/Ms/Dr/ e.g. Mr Bloggs
  • Include their name and address – MPs only listen to concerns from their constituents, so they need their address and postcode to confirm they are a constituent.
  • Make it personal – using their own words to explain their contribution to the local industry and their concerns will be very impactful.
