Four session nail stylists have joined forces to help acquire hand creams and protective equipment to support NHS workers.

Michelle Humphrey, Michelle Class, Stephanie Staunton and Sabrina Gayle have rallied together to contact nail brands to donate the likes of hand creams, hand sanitisers, masks and gloves to hospitals and workers in need.

“I was contacted by bespoke tailor, Nafisa Tosh, who I have worked with on a number of fashion photo shoots,” reveals Michelle Humphrey. “Her husband works across hospitals in London, and revealed that the staff members in ICU are in desperate need of hand cream due to the regular washing and sanitising of their hands, which has led them to become dry and cracked.

“I posted my remaining stock to her to pass onto her husband for the hospital – but knew that this wouldn’t be enough, so I reached out to fellow session techs, Michelle Class, Stephanie Staunton and Sabrina Gayle, to see if we could get some more. We’ve had very generous donations from a number of companies.”

Those that have donated products include:

The team is now encouraging other members of the industry to donate any spare stock, without putting themselves at risk. This stock will then be distributed between hospitals in London via the transportation staff working at each hospital.

If you are a brand or tech that can donate, please contact the session stylists and Nafisa via their Instagram links below and post to the following address:
