VTCT hosts action-packed beauty programme for National Apprenticeship Week 2022

To mark National Apprenticeship Week 7-13 February 2022, awarding body, Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) has an action-packed schedule to celebrate the 15th annual event.

The theme of ‘Build the Future’ continues for its second National Apprenticeship Week (NAW),  showcasing the impact apprenticeships can have on communities, local businesses and regional economies. The focus is specifically on how employers train, retain and achieve through apprenticeships.

The week features an array of interviews with hair & beauty industry professionals, training providers and apprentices to inspire people to take on apprenticeships, become a training provider, or offer apprenticeships in the business or workplace.

Those interested can view ‘Day in the Life’ videos on Instagram, showing an insight into what a typical day looks like as an apprentice in the hair and beauty industry. VTCT training providers will also share their experiences, and leading salon owners will share an insight into employing apprentices.
