- Entry is free!
- Any nail system or technique can be used – it’s completely your preference.
- 3D/4D nail work and extreme shapes are permitted, but the nail look must be a reasonable salon-friendly design (created in an average appointment time).
- Multiple entries may be submitted.
- The nail design must reflect the month of entry’s set theme.
- The design can be completed on yourself, nail tips or a client.
- The design must be completed on a minimum of four nails.
- Each image must be submitted alongside the entry form.
- Individual feedback is not provided.
- Open to UK-based entrants only.
The judges examine all the entries using the below criteria:
- Instant impact: Does the nail design have ‘wow’ factor?
- Interpretation of theme: Does the nail design show originality? Has the theme been interpreted in a unique way? Can the theme immediately be seen in the nails?
- Clarity of photograph & nails: Is the image clear and completely in focus? Are the nails well photographed?
- Nail finish: Is the nail design finished to perfection? Is the nail art executed flawlessly? Are the nails even in shape and form? If the design is on a person, does the surrounding skin and cuticle area look healthy?
