The One To Watch Challenge (Week 4)
This challenge will be due on the 26 June @ 8AM BST
Context & challenge:
We’re nearing the end of WSNA, so for the final main challenge we’re asking you to show us what you're best at.
Choose the nail medium you feel you work best with and use that medium ONLY to create art on 5 nails.
To make this even more challenging, only one colour can be used as well. Your inspiration for this challenge will be yourself. Show the judges why you belong in the finale and are a nail artist to watch.
Particulars:
- Nails for this challenge should be shown on a single hand (5 tips). Nails can be sculpted or art can be done on tips, then placed on a model (you can be your own model).
- Shades of the colour you’ve chosen WILL be allowed.
- Embellishments are NOT allowed.
- In your video diary and/or write-up explain your choice of medium and colour, along with why you belong in the final round.

Deliverables
1. Submit one final image of each individual nail and up to 5 images of your entire nail creation, from a variety of angles. (Up to 10 images total)
2. A 5-7 minute video diary detailing your inspiration. Show as much technique as you can. Videos should follow this loose outline:
- Intro (Welcome us on camera, take us through inspiration of challenge; no need to rehash the challenge word for word).
- Technique (show innovative/major techniques that prove you did these nails).
- Any Pro Tips you want to share.
- Closing.
NOTE: Videos should be filmed in 9:16 Vertical format (e.g. Instagram Reel/Story or TikTok style).
3. A write-up explaining how your design was created (500 words maximum). The write-up does not need to be word for word what’s in your video. Rather, use this space to explain anything that couldn’t fit in your video or extra inspiration details.
Reminder: In your video diary and/or write-up, explain your choice of medium and colour along with why you belong in the final round.
