Sally Cheque For The Little Princess Trust

Following a busy summer of fundraising efforts, Sally Beauty has presented its charity partner of five years, The Little Princess Trust, with a cheque for over £67,000 – far exceeding its original fundraising target of £50,000.

From donating profits from selected hair and beauty products to hosting in-store events, Sally and its network of UK stores got involved and helped to raise money for The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs free of charge to children who have lost their own hair during cancer treatment.

Bringing the successful fundraising season to a close, celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton paid a visit to Sally HQ to cut the hair of seven-year-old Amelia, daughter of one of the Sally team, who had been begging her mum for four years to let her have her hair cut for The Little Princess Trust.

Warren Scarr, MD of Sally UK & Ireland was then delighted to be able to present a cheque to the charity for over £67,000 – almost double the amount raised last year.

“We’re thrilled to be able to present The Little Princess Trust with this donation and help support the fantastic work it does,” Warren comments. “Our staff has made an incredible effort to help us raise this money and smash our target, and we couldn’t have done it without the commitment and enthusiasm of those involved.”
