Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) UK has announced the appointment of two new board members to its experienced panel of industry experts.

Offering unique insights and knowledge of the industry to CEW’s members, the appointment sees Melis Del Rey, UK Health and Beauty Country Leader at Amazon, and Selma Terzic, CEO of QMS Medicosmetics join the board.

With a PhD in New Product Development, Melis has 11 years of experience with Procter and Gamble overseeing the leadership of six different countries across its beauty portfolio. After moving to Amazon in 2014, Melis has doubled the size of her department and its profitability.

Selma has over 20 years of experience working with industry-leading brands, and her successes include opening the first MAC Cosmetics store outside of the US, as well as launching a global marketing campaign for St Tropez with Kate Moss. Selma now works at QMS Medicosmetics, using her extensive knowledge of the beauty industry to develop and drive the brand.

Caroline Neville MBE, president of CEW UK, says, “Both of our new board members have considerable pedigree within the beauty industry and bring a wealth of knowledge to CEW. We welcome them and look forward to working with them closely.”
