Louella Belle Recycling

Louella Belle, distributor of professional hand, nail and foot care products, has launched RecycLeBelle, a recycling scheme for old product bottles.

The company is accepting the likes of nail polish bottles, cuticle oil bottles and gel polish bottles from any brand – not just those from Louella Belle‘s distribution portfolio.

The RecycLeBelle scheme will go live on 1 January 2020, when customers will be able to return any empty bottles (a small amount of residue is acceptable) in a prepaid, eco-friendly envelope to Louella Belle. When four or more bottles are returned, the customer will receive a 15% discount off their next Louella Belle order.

A spokesperson for Louella Belle comments: “Nail product packaging is often composed of a variety of types of material, which makes recycling them incredibly difficult. Most public kerbside recycling programmes will not accept varnish/gel bottles at present. Louella Belle is working towards being more mindful towards recycling, and our key aim is to make being sustainable as easy as possible for customers and rewarding them for their efforts.”

The bottles will be collected from Louella Belle by a recycling company and sorted into different materials which can then be recycled and reused as appropriate.
