Session stylist and nail artist, Sophie Harris-Greenslade, of The Illustrated Nail, has revealed a line of press-on nails.

Featuring an array of the Scratch Stars Awards winner and Scratch columnist’s iconic artwork, the range launches next month in partnership with health and beauty product suppliers, H&A.

The line currently sees two festival-ready styles. Hazy Daze, an iridescent pink almond shape with daisy chain motifs for statement nails, while To The Moon & Back sees a coffin shape with detailed illustrations and stylish half-moon negative space. Each kit sees 24 nails in 12 sizes, as well as adhesive and a printed file.

The range was revealed at the Christmas in July Festival, as H&A showcased upcoming launches from its various brands, including Sophie’s new line.

“It’s so exciting,” revealed Sophie to Scratch magazine’s Kat. “I’m always being asked, especially on social media, where my designs can be bought. Obviously, I can’t do everyone’s nails as much as I’d like to, so this felt like the next step as it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while.

“For the range, I have paired up with H&A and it’s been amazing. The brand approached me about developing its nail offering with a project that was very fun and nail art orientated – which was ideal for me. I also love wearing press-on nails; I find they’re so handy for just popping on if you need a quick nail art fix.

“The nails in the collection are both festival-ready designs. My aim was to create a wearable style with a slightly shorter length and fun designs.

“To create this range, I kept an eye on current trends,” Sophie continue. “I noted starry, celestial-inspired prints around. Plus, metallic and florals for festivals are a must. I created so many designs for the range, but managed to whittle it down to a few. I also wanted to factor in what designs would work well for the different seasons.

“As it stands, Boots are taking on two designs which will be available in August. The range has been really well received so far; I’ve had a lot of interest. I just wait to see my designs and The Illustrated Nail brand on shop shelves.

“We will hopefully have more designs coming out, as well as expanding the range. I can’t wait!”
