SALON IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Little Luxury, Warrington, Cheshire

With only four weeks to prepare the salon for its opening before Christmas, owner Kayleigh Marley had a lot of work to do, but the results of Little Luxury stun. With its purple and grey theme, the salon is a tranquil and welcoming space.

After the salon’s many guises over the years, from a side extension to a hairdresser to a treatment room at a gym more recently, Kayleigh knew it was time for the business to have a place of its own.

“Our final big expansion was in November 2016 when we did the big move and took on our own premises,” she explains. “We decided to close the room within the gym to ensure we could have our full focus on the biggest expansion we had done yet. It’s the best thing we have ever done, we have so much more space to offer customers more treatments, availability and new treatments!

Based in Warrington, Cheshire, the team currently consists of Kayleigh and four other therapists. With business going so well, there are plans to grow the both the salon and the team further. “With having just four weeks to do all the work to the new salon, we actually have two rooms that we haven’t yet been completed. They are in the process of being finished and soon we’ll be able to offer customers even more space and availability. There’s something that we are very excited about having and that will completely set us apart – but we’re keeping that one a secret for the moment!”

Currently offering a wide range of treatments, Little Luxury goes the extra mile for its clients with a package deal that has proved popular. “We were the first in our area to offer a Spa’Afternoon Tea package,” Kayleigh explains. “It is extremely popular in the salon at the moment! We love being able to offer customers spa quality treatments, products and customer service but in an atmosphere that they feel comfortable and at home in.”

This approach to customer care actually saw Little Luxury scoop two awards last year at the British Hair & Beauty Awards, for Best New Business and Best Customer Service. “This year, we made it into the English Hair And Beauty Award finals in the Best Beauty Salon, North West category,” beams Kayleigh. “We are so excited for these awards and we think this really make us unique.”
